Atlanta pop-punk breakout The Paradox have released their sophomore EP, Proceed With Caution, arriving October 2 through Hundred Days Records.
The six-song project follows their 2025 EP NSFW and comes during a remarkable stretch for the four-piece, which has gone from viral social media performances to a Billboard No. 1 and a completely sold-out national headlining tour in just over two years.
Running approximately 16 minutes, Proceed With Caution keeps things short and energetic, bringing together three previously released singles and three brand-new tracks.
What’s New on Proceed With Caution?
Three songs make their debut with the EP: “Living Hell,” “Stoner Mentality” and “It’s Over.”
“Living Hell” arrives alongside an official music video, giving fans another look at the band’s personality and its rapidly evolving sound.
The project also introduces “Stoner Mentality” and closing track “It’s Over,” adding fresh material to an EP that expands on the sound fans have come to know from The Paradox.
What Have Fans Already Heard?
Half of the EP was available before its October 2 release.
“I Kinda Like That” generated millions of views through social media teasers, earning attention from artists including Tyla, Joe Jonas and Normani.
“That’s Not Fair” leans into the fast-paced, stripped-down sound of early punk, drawing inspiration from the Ramones. The band previewed the song during Kai Cenat’s 24-hour livestream before its official release in September.
“Good For Me,” the project’s first single, also gained considerable traction online before the full EP arrived.
Together, the three singles helped introduce the band’s next chapter while giving fans a taste of what was coming.
What’s Not on the EP?
Despite its growing catalog, The Paradox have kept Proceed With Caution focused on six tracks rather than expanding it into a full-length album.
Earlier songs such as “Get the Message,” “Do Me Like That” and the Travis Barker collaboration “Bender” are not included. Those tracks appeared on the band’s previous EP, NSFW, released in September 2025.
“Get the Message” became an important milestone for the group when it topped Billboard’s Alternative Airplay chart in January 2026, establishing The Paradox as the first all-Black band to reach No. 1 on that chart.

From Viral Success to a Sold-Out National Tour
Formed in Atlanta in 2024, The Paradox have wasted little time establishing themselves in the current pop-punk landscape.
With Eric Dangerfield, Christopher “Xelan” Bernard, Donald Bryant and Percy “PC3” Crews leading the way, the band has attracted recognition from Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong, Travis Barker and other established names in rock and beyond.
Now, the group is preparing to take its music across the country on its first national headlining tour.
All 21 dates sold out ahead of the October 14 kickoff in Dallas, including back-to-back performances in Los Angeles and New York City.
The tour concludes November 18 with a hometown show at The Masquerade in Atlanta, featuring Meet Me @ The Altar.
