Cloonee released his debut album Are You Still You? on October 6, 2026 through Good Music For Bad People and his own Hellbent Records, 16 tracks and roughly 47 minutes from the UK-born, LA-based tech house producer. Fourteen years into his career, he built the whole thing around a question his fans keep asking in the comments, which version of Cloonee they are going to get.
The answer is all of them. The singles run started with “Good Girl” alongside Prospa and Tristan Henry, a track made during Miami Music Week that went to No. 1 on Beatport, and wrapped with “Paradise” with Chris Lake featuring Aliyah’s Interlude. That last pairing carries some weight, since Lake is the one who signed Cloonee to Black Book Records back in 2020.
Front to back, it sounds like a crate dig through his whole career. A disco tilt on opener “Catch Me In Amsterdam” with Sirolf. Freshlyground‘s “I’d Like” flipped on “What Would I Do” with Ranger Trucco, the same sample Mt Eden turned into “Sierra Leone”. A Latin turn on “Movimiento” with Yandel and ATLAC. Then “Don’t You Want Me” with Chris Lorenzo closes it out feeling like a smoky ’80s nightclub at 4am.
The tech house backbone is what holds it all together, from the classic-house throwback of “Why Does Your Love Hurt So Much?” to the rolling bassline under “Paradise.” It feels like a proud, sprawling first chapter from someone who knows exactly who he is.
“With this album I want to give you every Cloonee. An ode to myself. The old me, the current me, the new me, and everything in between.” – Cloonee
