Chris Lake has his hands on Tiga‘s “SILK SCARF”, and he turned it into a tech house rework built for the biggest rooms he plays. The remix of the Montreal producer’s collaboration with New York band Fcukers landed October 30, 2026 through Turbo Recordings and Secret City Records, the newest piece of the remix run spun off Tiga’s album HOTLIFE.
“SILK SCARF” sits at track four on HOTLIFE, Tiga’s first studio album in over a decade, which arrived April 17. Fcukers, DJ Hell and The Dare have already had their turns with the record’s material, and Tiga made it pretty clear who he wanted next.
“And who does a party track better than Chris Lake? Literally nobody.” – Tiga
The original leaned hard on its Y2K electroclash roots, all deadpan attitude and wiry synths. Lake keeps the attitude and changes the frame, locking everything into a rolling tech house groove and pulling the vocals from Tiga and Shanny right to the front of the mix. It feels built for a festival mainstage at peak hour. Sleek, sweaty, and a little ridiculous in the best way.
These two have history, too. Tiga and Lake already linked up on “Party Time” for Lake’s Black Book Records, so this one plays like two old friends picking the conversation right back up. Tiga is carrying the HOTLIFE era across the winter, with stops at Time Warp in Los Angeles on November 27, Nowadays in New York on December 13 and Day Zero in Tulum on January 9, 2027.
