The Paradox Return Home for Sold-Out Atlanta Show at The Masquerade

Atlanta’s own The Paradox are coming home, and there isn’t a ticket left for their November 18 show at The Masquerade.

The fast-rising pop-punk band will close out its first-ever national headlining tour with a hometown performance in Hell at The Masquerade, joined by Meet Me @ The Altar. The Atlanta date marks the final stop of a 21-show run that sold out before the tour even began.

It’s an impressive milestone for a band that formed in the summer of 2024.

Fronted by Eric Dangerfield on vocals and guitar, alongside lead guitarist Christopher “Xelan” Bernard, bassist Donald Bryant and drummer Percy “PC3” Crews, The Paradox have quickly become one of the most talked-about new names in rock.

Their blend of early-2000s pop-punk nostalgia, infectious melodies and raw guitar-driven energy has attracted millions of followers and caught the attention of some of the genre’s biggest names.

Billie Joe Armstrong personally invited the band to open for Green Day, while Travis Barker collaborated with them on “Bender.” Earlier this year, their single “Get the Message” reached No. 1 on Billboard’s Alternative Airplay chart, making them the first all-Black band to accomplish that feat.

The momentum has only grown with the October 2 release of their sophomore EP, Proceed With Caution.

The six-track project features previously released favorites “I Kinda Like That,” “That’s Not Fair” and “Good For Me,” alongside three new additions, “Living Hell,” “Stoner Mentality” and “It’s Over.”

Now, with their first headlining tour underway, The Paradox are bringing the music back to the city where everything started.

For a band that was playing together for the first time just two summers ago, selling out an entire national tour and ending it in front of a hometown crowd says plenty about how quickly things are moving.
