ANOTR wrote their newest club record somewhere a lot quieter than a club. “Out of My Head” came out on October 16, 2026 through No Art, the Amsterdam duo’s own label, and it was born at their first official songwriting retreat, held at a new studio house in the Dutch countryside. The result is 3:19 of disco-funk guitar, stacked vocals and a soulful house groove.
The detail that sticks is the strings. Jesse and Oz brought in a nine-piece ensemble of violinists and cellists to play live on a track built for the floor, and you can feel that extra air in the room. It sounds warm, loose, and a little early-2000s, like a house record that remembers the summer even after the clocks change.
It is their first new music since the album Withness landed June 12 and “Silver Lines” with Emily Warren followed on CircoLoco Records in July. That caps a huge run for the duo, from “Talk To You” with 54 Ultra in March to two sold-out nights at London’s Alexandra Palace in September.
The road stays busy too. They host the No Art ADE Festival in Zaandam on October 24, then play CircoLoco Halloween at Brooklyn Storehouse in New York on October 31 before a winter swing through Dubai, Mumbai, Mexico, Miami and South America.
