Marlon Hoffstadt and David Guetta released “Caught Up” on October 9, 2026 through Capitol Records, just hours before the final show of Guetta’s 2026 residency at [UNVRS] in Ibiza. The Berlin DJ, who also plays as DJ Daddy Trance, made the track with Guetta just before Ultra Miami, and it has been waiting for the right moment ever since.
The song circles the mark a lover leaves on your life, the thoughts that keep drifting back to what was and what could have been. The two of them had already tested it on a crowd, too. A few weeks before release, Hoffstadt joined Guetta on stage at [UNVRS] for the first time and they played it together.
Hoffstadt’s cheeky, high-energy club streak meets Guetta’s instinct for giant hands-up lift, and the result sounds glossy, euphoric, and a little heartbroken underneath. It feels like the moment the lights come up and you are still thinking about someone who isn’t in the room.
It is another big swing in a huge run for Hoffstadt, who made his Coachella debut in April and dropped his album Das Ist Daddy in August. Guetta, fresh off being voted the world’s No. 1 DJ in the DJ Mag Top 100 for a sixth time, is clearly enjoying the company. Both of them play EDC Orlando in November.
“I grew up listening to David Guetta’s productions and have loved his music for as long as I can remember, so to now have a release together is absolutely mental. We made ‘Caught Up’ earlier this year, just before Ultra Miami, and I’ve been excited to put it out ever since.” – Marlon Hoffstadt
