deadmau5 has signed with Independent Artist Group for worldwide representation in all areas, announced September 10, 2026. The agency takes on his business across music, film, television, digital content, gaming and technology, and the deal is built as much around what Joel Zimmerman already owns as around what he puts out next.
Three properties sit at the center of it. Coffee Run, the series built on candid car rides and coffee with guests like Pharrell Williams, Skrillex and Dillon Francis, is being relaunched. Oberhasli Games is his video game company. Auto/Pilot is his live-performance software for real-time arrangement, sampling and sequencing. It reads as a signing built around an IP catalog rather than a touring calendar, and it feels like the natural next move for an artist who has spent years building side doors into other industries.
IAG is younger than the career it just took on. The agency formed in June 2023 out of the merger of APA and Artist Group International, assembled for exactly this kind of crossover work.
“IAG’s proven track record of creating exciting crossover content creation and ownership opportunities for musical artists is what attracted me to them.” – deadmau5
The music has been running hot alongside all of it. “Science” with Stevie Appleton arrived February 2, 2026 and hit No. 1 at U.S. Dance Radio, his first vocal single since “My Heart Has Teeth” with Skylar Grey. The retro5pective run marking 25 years sold out the Hollywood Bowl, Brooklyn Mirage and Red Rocks Amphitheatre, and he returns to Red Rocks for two Halloween nights.
