D.O.D has spent years making dance records that put a real voice at the centre rather than a chopped-up sample of one. “Careful” with Izzy Bizu arrived July 31, 2026 on Armada Music. It is the kind of pairing that reads better the second you hear it.
Bizu has one of those British voices that sounds faintly bruised even when the song is not a sad one, and it gives the track something to hold onto. The production keeps its distance early and then closes in around her. It feels like a warning you already know you are going to ignore.
An Extended Mix came out alongside it, which is the version that will do the actual work in a set. Armada put both out on the day.
