R3HAB has spent a career chasing something, and Dream inside a dream… is about what happens once you catch it. His third album arrived July 31, 2026 through CYB3RPVNK and Universal, twelve tracks in a shade under thirty three minutes. It reads as the most personal thing the Dutch-Moroccan producer has put out, and it plays like one too.
The arc runs through love, loneliness, gratitude and something close to self-acceptance. “Ghost town” and “Lost in translation” sit at the lonely end of it. “More than enough” is where it turns. It plays like a producer writing in the first person for once.
He hands most of the songs to somebody else’s voice. Izzy Bizu takes two of them, “I had a dream” and “If I could stop time”. RHODES has “Right here”, and Orem gets “All I am” and “Watch my heart go”. Jason Stephenson bookends the whole record.
Thirty three minutes is short for something with this much on its mind, and the restraint is the best decision on it. It leaves before it starts repeating itself.
