Martin Garrix released “This Dream Of You” on October 2, 2026 via Darkroom Records, and once again it’s his own voice carrying the song. It’s his second release singing lead after “Catharina”, and a lot of fans have already heard it in some form: he premiered it as the intro to his Tomorrowland headline set, then kept teasing it with stripped-back acoustic performances and snippets on social.
The track opens on an orchestral, almost weightless passage before his vocal slides in and the production opens up around it, all airy textures and euphoric melody. Lyrically it’s confessional, with the dream itself becoming the way he copes. It feels like a late-night diary entry blown up to festival size, soft at the center and huge at the edges.
“Singing is very far outside of my comfort zone, but I’ve been wanting to push myself, try new things and keep learning… Having my own voice at the center of one of my productions is something I never thought I’d do, so this release means a lot to me.” – Martin Garrix
It lands in the middle of a wild run. “Fireflies” brought all four members of U2 onto a Garrix track. “Repeat It” with Ed Sheeran climbed into the Top 15 on the Mediabase Top 40 in May. “Bizarre” with Madonna premiered during his three-night Barclays Center run in New York. Now the Martin Garrix Americas Tour heads through Latin America, and this song feels made for those big-room intros.
