Audien is back in the lane that made so many people fall for him in the first place. “High Hopes” leans fully into that uplifting progressive house feeling, all heart, lift, and wide-open emotion, while Shaun Farrugia gives the track the kind of vocal that makes it stick long after the drop fades.
That is really where the song wins. Audien keeps the production bright and soaring without letting it tip into something overly polished, and Farrugia brings enough ache and warmth to make the whole thing feel lived in instead of just big. It sounds hopeful, but not naive. Emotional, but still built to move a crowd.
The timing makes sense too. Audien has been on a strong run this year, and “High Hopes” keeps that momentum moving after “Sacrifice” while reminding people that progressive house is still very much at the center of what he does best. Between that, the continued rise of Progressive House Never Died, and a packed summer of shows ahead, this one feels like it arrived exactly when it needed to.
