Rudimental put out “Send Shots” with Original Koffee and Winny on August 24, 2026 through Black Butter Records, after handing the premiere to Jack Saunders on BBC Radio 1 that same evening. The East London group have spent a decade collecting collaborators from every corner of the map, and this one puts three of those corners in the same room at once.
The track sits where drum and bass and dancehall overlap, all thunderous percussion and a bassline heavy enough to rearrange a festival field. Original Koffee comes in with the kind of unbothered authority she has been trading on for years, and Winny answers her with something warmer and more melodic. “It’s like a 21 gun salute, never have nothing fi prove, everybody see how I move,” Koffee delivers, which is a fair summary of the whole record. It feels like the point in a set where the crowd stops watching and starts moving.
There is a nice symmetry to where it landed. Black Butter is the imprint Rudimental broke out on more than ten years ago, so the group are effectively releasing this at their old address. It follows the summer single “Love You More” and swaps that song’s open-hearted lift for pure sound system pressure. Jesse James directed the video entirely in Kingston, Jamaica, with Koffee and Winny moving through the city alongside a full crew of dancers, and a VIP Jungle Mix and a UK Funky Mix are both queued up behind it. The group have said more music is coming through Black Butter in the months ahead.
