HUGEL is not wasting time easing into this next chapter. “Movin’ To The Sun” arrives as the first release from his debut album Twenty One, and it already feels like the kind of record built to stretch far beyond one season.
What makes the new single hit is the way it pulls different eras together without sounding forced. HUGEL brings his signature groove-led touch, Ultra Naté gives it that timeless house authority, and Imael Angel adds a fresher vocal presence that helps the whole thing feel current instead of nostalgic.
The timing matters too. The release lands right after his Coachella debut, where the Make The Girls Dance concept came to life on a much bigger scale with a stacked lineup of surprise guests and a full crossover moment that felt larger than just one set. Add in the return of his Hï Ibiza residency and new Las Vegas runs at XS, Encore Beach Club, and EBC at Night, and it is pretty clear HUGEL is moving with real momentum right now.
More than anything, this feels like a statement opener. “Movin’ To The Sun” is warm, sexy, and made to travel.
