Galo is back with “Independent,” a new release set to land May 15, and it already sounds like one for the warmer nights ahead. The Colombian producer and multi-instrumentalist leans into a disco-tinted house groove here, giving the track a lighter, more radiant pulse without losing the movement underneath it.
The rollout is getting a full visual push too, with an official visualizer leading the campaign and clips from it set to carry across digital promo. That extra visual layer should fit the release well, especially for a track that already sounds built around color, rhythm, and feel.
It also arrives with some momentum behind him. Galo’s last release picked up support from BBC Radio 1 tastemakers and DJs like Jamie Jones, which gives “Independent” a strong setup before it even drops.
