G-Eazy is opening a new chapter with “JFK,” his latest collaboration with Ty Dolla $ign.
Released September 25, the track arrives as one of the first moves from G-Eazy’s new independent era after stepping away from the major-label system and partnering with Ty’s EZMNY Records alongside EMPIRE.
“JFK” keeps things smooth and direct. G slides into the verses with that familiar cool confidence, while Ty handles the melodic side and gives the track a little more lift. The pairing feels natural, two California artists with very different styles meeting somewhere in the middle.
The collaboration also comes at the right time. G-Eazy is heading into The Endless Summer Tour Part II with Logic, giving him another chance to bring new music into a set packed with songs fans have been following for years.
“JFK” feels less like a random single and more like the first real glimpse at where G-Eazy wants to go next.
