West 22nd are heading back to Atlanta, and this stop feels a little more connected than your average date on the calendar. The Austin-formed band returns to Terminal West on October 30 as part of the Places To Be Tour, bringing a catalog that has only gotten stronger since the last time they rolled through the city.
Atlanta already has a place in the West 22nd universe too. “Virginia Highlands” is one of their standout songs, a nostalgic nod to the Atlanta neighborhood and the kind of track that should hit a little differently when it comes alive in the room. They have been here before, but this time around there is more momentum, more music, and more people paying attention.
Terminal West feels like the perfect room for it. Intimate enough to feel every chorus, loud enough to let the whole thing breathe. Atlanta gets another shot at West 22nd on October 30. This one should be special.
