Framework is not playing small this summer. The independent force behind some of LA’s strongest underground events has announced a 13-show Summer Series stretching across the city, with stops at Gin Ling Way, Exposition Park, California Plaza, and two Reframe Studio Outdoors dates helping turn the whole season into a citywide run.
The series already got off to a huge start. Disco Lines pulled a sold-out crowd of 12,000 to Exposition Park on May 2 in partnership with Goldenvoice, and that momentum carried straight into Framework’s first-ever beach event at Cabrillo Beach, where &ME brought more than 6,000 people out to the waterfront.
There is plenty more on deck. Gorgon City hits Reframe Studios Outdoors on May 30, Deep House Bible takes over Gin Ling Way on June 6 with Ahmed Spins, Darco, EDD, and Erez, and Chris Lake lands a sold-out two-night run at LA Historic Park on June 19 and 20 with support from AYYBO, Ragie Ban, Hot Since 82, and Club De Combat. SG Lewis and Carlita also have sold-out Gin Ling Way dates later in the summer.
Framework will close the run on September 19 with Francis Mercier and special guest Shimza at Reframe Studios Outdoors. Taken together, the full series feels like another reminder that Framework knows exactly how to make Los Angeles feel plugged in all summer long.
