A$AP Rocky released “Shroom Clouds” on October 16, 2026 through A$AP Worldwide/RCA Records, bringing in reggie and Jeremih for the lead single from Don’t Be Dumb Disc 2. Fans have known this one for years as “Mushroom Clouds,” a song he first played live in 2021, including at Governors Ball, and it finally has an official home.
Disc 2 is shaping up as a vault opening. Rocky says it is mostly songs from his alter egos, recorded during his eight-year hiatus, with new verses on fan favorites like “Babushka Boi” and “Sundress,” a couple of new singles, and only two guest features. Disc 1 landed January 16 with 15 tracks, so this half has a lot to live up to.
“Shroom Clouds” sounds exactly like the title promises. Hazy, slow-rolling, and a little dusty, it sits at an easy mid-tempo and settles into a lazy head-nod. Rocky produced it with Hector Delgado and Kevin Arcilla, and the beat feels like smoke curling around the edges of the speakers while Jeremih’s smooth tone adds a late-night glow.
It has been a long wait, and Rocky knows it. His sold-out 49-date world tour behind the album ends the year in Australia and New Zealand, and he has been clear that he wanted to get off the road and finish this run properly. “Sorry for the wait,” he told Complex. Hearing a song this old finally sound this finished makes the delay feel worth it.
“I want them to hear it as a whole so that they can finally understand the completion of Don’t Be Dumb.” – A$AP Rocky
