AFROJACK is loading up a huge fall. He has officially announced the CONTROL North American Tour, a nine-date run kicking off October 3 at New City Gas in Montreal and bringing his full-spectrum sound to major venues across the US and Canada.
What makes this tour feel bigger than a standard headline run is the idea behind it. CONTROL is built around the duality that has always made AFROJACK interesting, one foot in massive festival anthems, the other still planted firmly in club culture. That means fans can expect a set pulling from the biggest records in his catalog while also making room for the heavier, more underground-leaning material he has been diving into more lately.
That shift has been especially clear this year. Between his Ultra Miami double-duty under both AFROJACK and Kapuchon, his return to Coachella’s Quasar stage with Shimza, and newer releases on Black Book, Hot Creations, and AETERNA, he has been moving with a lot more club intent without losing the scale that made him a global name in the first place.
He is also about to go live on YouTube with a new mix featuring more than 90 percent original AFROJACK material, including unreleased music, reworked fan favorites, and special edits inspired by artists on the upcoming CONTROL tour. That stream goes live today at 10 a.m. PT / 1 p.m. ET, giving fans another direct look at where his head is right now.
And there is more. AFROJACK also just dropped a new EP under his AfroSalto alias, the duo project he shares with Gregor Salto. Titled I’ll Be Good, the release pairs the A-side “I’ll Be Good” with Sven Fields and the B-side “We Love Paul,” and lands via Keinemusik’s Vinyl On Demand imprint. Altogether, it feels like AFROJACK is not just announcing a tour, he is showing the full shape of where his sound is headed next.
