HAYLA is opening a new chapter, and she is not doing it quietly. The UK artist has officially announced her debut album DARK, due July 31, while also releasing “Enough,” a raw, cinematic new single that keeps pushing her further away from dancefloor anthem territory and into something more emotionally exposed.
The new release leans into the ache of emotional distance and unreturned love, carried by her unmistakable voice and a production style that feels richer, moodier, and more intimate. Co-written and produced with Magnus Skylstad, “Enough” sounds built for heartbreak, late nights, and anyone trying not to say too much while feeling everything.
It also lands right after a huge live moment. HAYLA just made her EDC Las Vegas Kinetic Field main stage debut, where a massive crowd showed up to see her perform solo cuts like “Fall Again,” “Freefall,” “Alone,” “Visions of You,” “Embers,” and “Heal,” the first single from DARK.
Taken together, “Heal” and “Enough” already make it clear that this album is going to show a different side of her. More vulnerable, more story-driven, and fully her own.
“”Enough” is about dating. The feeling of uneven ground. Feeling more attached as the person you’re with pulls away. Knowing you want to say how you feel but aware that may further the distance. Being in solitude holding on to a one sided flame as it looms overhead in silence. Heavy is the unrequited. Is it only me or us? I think you like the idea of me but not the commitment. So you just get enough.” – HAYLA
