Riley Green put out “That’s Just Me” on August 26, 2026, the title track of his fourth studio album and the fifth song he has shared from it. The writing goes straight at the part most breakup singles skate past, which is the wondering. Green spends the whole song looking back at something already over and turning over whether she thinks about him even a fraction as much as he thinks about her.
He lays it out plainly. “It’s just me all alone here dyin’ / Tryin’ to find a way to get over you,” he sings, before landing on the line the record hangs from, that if she is doing fine with her bottle of wine then she can go ahead and let the telephone ring. It feels like the third hour of a night that should have ended two hours ago. Vulnerable, unhurried, and raw around the edges.
That’s Just Me arrives September 18, 2026 through Nashville Harbor Records & Entertainment, a 19-song run produced by Dann Huff with Green co-producing. It follows Don’t Mind If I Do from 2024 and adds to a genuinely loaded stretch for the Alabama native, who also turned up in an episode of Marshals playing Garrett, a Navy SEAL living with PTSD, and performed “My Way” in it. The guest list pulls real weight too, with Jake Worthington, Brooks & Dunn, and Randy Owen of the band Alabama all landing across the tracklist. Four songs were already out ahead of this one, counting “Think As You Drunk”, “Go Again” with Hannah McFarland, and “Imagine That”.
