Sonny Fodera had been playing it out before anyone could stream it. He premiered “Say Something” at a gig in early August 2026, introducing it as a track with his good friend Becky Hill, and the reaction online got there well before the release did. It landed properly on August 21, 2026.
It feels like a record built for the back half of a set. Fodera keeps the groove wide, warm, and unhurried, and Hill sings straight into the middle of it, opening on a line that hands you the whole song at once. “All I need is communication / And all you need is someone to listen.” A track about breaking a silence, dropped into a genre that mostly just wants you to move.
This is their second time out together. “Never Be Alone” arrived in January 2024, reached No. 23 in the UK, and landed on Hill’s second album Believe Me Now?. The chemistry clearly stuck.
Both are in the middle of a busy run. Hill has been rolling out her third album REBECCA across 2026 with “Hands On Me,” “More! More! More!” and “What Do I Have To Do?” Fodera released Can We Do It All Again? in 2026 and brings Flight Facilities, Danny Howard and LAEET to Pacha Ibiza on August 31, 2026. For now the lyric video is the only visual.
