That emotional core feels especially fitting after the strange second life of “Lose You Tonight.” The track spent months climbing Japanese charts, inspired more than 70,000 fan-made videos, and generated over 100 million TikTok views without some massive manufactured push behind it.
For VAVO, “Brotherman” also sharpens the direction of his next chapter. After building a name around YEEDM, festival stages, Vegas residencies, and crossover collaborations, he is leaning harder into dance music that feels immediate, melodic, and human.
Caplen gives the record its soul. VAVO gives it motion. Together, they make “Brotherman” feel less like a follow-up and more like the start of something bigger.
