Diplo and A$AP Ferg are serving up “Let Me Cook,” a two-minute burst released October 19, 2026 on Diplo’s Mad Decent. It’s the first single from a forthcoming project born out of Diplo’s Run Club, his series of city 5Ks that finish in a mini music festival, and the whole thing is being built with longtime friends and collaborators to fuel runners and athletes.
They road-tested it the right way. Diplo had been playing it at Run Club events before release, including the sold-out San Francisco 5K at Robin Williams Meadow in Golden Gate Park on October 18, where more than 12,000 runners turned out. Earlier in October, Diplo, Ferg and Wiz Khalifa took off on an impromptu 5K through Harlem. An official visualizer landed alongside the track.
“Let Me Cook” sounds like the last stretch of a race: short, loud and built to push. Ferg brings the swagger in big doses, Diplo keeps the drums driving underneath him, and at about two minutes it’s done before your legs get a vote. Flipping “let him cook” into the first person feels exactly right for a song whose job is to keep you moving.
Run Club itself is having a moment. It sold more than 100,000 tickets in its first two years and has grown to a community of over 300,000, and season three spans Denver, Chicago, Phoenix, San Diego and Philadelphia, plus its first international market, Mexico City, in January 2027. The New York edition hits Flushing Meadows Corona Park in Queens on October 24.
