Bebe Rexha has officially released Dirty Blonde, and it feels like the kind of album you make when nobody is standing over your shoulder. Out through EMPIRE, the 13-track project marks her first full album as an independent artist, and you can hear that freedom all over it.
What makes the record stand out is how comfortable it is living in contradiction. It is glossy and bruised, club-ready and deeply personal, full of Euro-pop energy but still rooted in the kind of honesty that has always made Bebe connect. Songs like “I Like You Better Than Me” and “Çike Çike” already hinted at that range, balancing insecurity, identity, cultural pride, and full-volume release without losing the thread.
That seems to be the real story of Dirty Blonde. This is not just Bebe making another pop record. It is Bebe making the version she actually wanted to make, with more risk, more personality, and a lot more of herself left in it.
