The Rolling Stones are back with Foreign Tongues, a new 14-track album arriving July 10 through Capitol Records. Leading the rollout is “In the Stars,” an upbeat first single that arrives alongside opening track “Rough and Twisted,” giving fans an early look at a record that already feels lively and full of movement.
The album follows Hackney Diamonds and was recorded in under a month at Metropolis Studios in West London, with Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, and Ronnie Wood reuniting with producer Andrew Watt. That quick turnaround gives the project an energy that sounds immediate rather than overworked, which makes this next chapter feel even more exciting.
There is also plenty of weight behind the guest list, with contributions from Paul McCartney, Steve Winwood, Robert Smith, Chad Smith, and a special appearance from Charlie Watts. Altogether, Foreign Tongues feels like another big swing from a band that still knows how to keep things moving without leaning on legacy alone.
