Some titles point at a genre. This one points at a person. Quavo put out “Trance (Walk It Down)” on August 14, 2026, the next piece of QRÖMELIFE, the album Pharrell Williams is executive producing.
The beat is heavy 808s, bouncy hi-hats and a crisp snare and clap pattern, and Quavo spends the whole thing watching one dancer work the club floor before he invites her into the world he has built. It sounds like luxury at three in the morning, unhurried, glassy, and completely sure of itself. The video, directed by Daps with Quavo, was filmed aboard a yacht in Marbella, Spain, which is about as literal as that world gets.
“Working with Pharrell means you need to be versatile, a sound bender, a wave creator and a trend setter. He levels you up.” – Quavo
The single follows “HAAVIN”, which opened Pharrell Williams’ Louis Vuitton Spring-Summer 2027 men’s show in Paris. Two singles into this era, the temperature is already set.
