John Summit is keeping things moving ahead of CTRL ESCAPE, his new album arriving on tax day, April 15.
Before that lands, he is set for a Red Rocks Amphitheatre takeover on April 8 (Tomorrow), playing open to close from 7 to 10 p.m. just outside of Denver, Colorado. It is the latest stop in a run that has also included pop-ups in Los Angeles at Reframe Studios and in New York at HALO, where he partnered with Spotify and LinkedIn.
The album pulls from across the electronic spectrum, moving through tech house, dubstep, drum and bass, and more. The bigger picture feels tied to where Summit is at right now, balancing nonstop travel, massive headline dates, and smaller rooms that keep him close to the crowd that was there from the beginning. The idea is not just scale, it is versatility, with songs built to hit whether they are played in a club, a festival set, or somewhere in between.
He also recently dropped “CHICA 305” with Feid, a track that leans into the rush of a chance connection in the middle of a packed dance floor.
