HAYLA returns with another heartfelt single off her upcoming debut album with “Easier.” This single marks the final release before DARK arrives on July 31. The Liverpool born artist pushes further into the cinematic, vulnerable lane that has been setting this new chapter apart from the dancefloor-driven records many first knew her for.
What makes this one hit is how raw it feels. Written and recorded in the same day with British producer Jacob Manson, “Easier” sits with grief in a way that feels honest and unguarded, turning immense loss into something intimate without overworking the emotion. It is a heavy song, but not a cold one.
That emotional weight gives the whole DARK era even more shape. After “Heal” and “Enough,” this latest release makes it clear HAYLA is building an album rooted in feeling, storytelling, and a different kind of power than the one that first introduced her to huge dance audiences.
It also lands at a big moment for her live. Fresh off her EDC Las Vegas main stage debut and recent festival stops at Breakaway and Project Glow, HAYLA is heading toward the launch of her DARK tour on August 6 in Chicago, with dates in Los Angeles, New York City, Atlanta, Washington, D.C., Dallas, and more. And if you dropped the EDC Las Vegas live video into the post, it is the perfect reminder that these songs are already taking on a life of their own onstage.
