Dom Dolla has his own record label. The Melbourne DJ, born Dominic Matheson, announced Good Fortune Records on October 14, 2026, turning the Good Fortune party brand he has been throwing events under into a home for other people’s music. Those nights have already run through Melbourne, Los Angeles, New York, Miami, Detroit, London and Manchester, so the name carries real weight on the floor before a single record is out.
First up is “DANCE” from Melbourne producer Torren Foot and UK vocalist rhys from the sticks, out October 16 via Good Fortune Records and Sweat It Out. The two wrote it in London in under an hour, right after Torren’s first time playing Ibiza, and Dom first dropped it at his Allianz Stadium show in Sydney in 2025 in front of 40,000 people. From there it became one of the most chased IDs of the European summer, with Solomun, Peggy Gou and Michael Bibi all playing it out. In Dom’s words, it has “been a staple in my set for the last 12 months.”
It sounds like a record that was finished in an hour, in the best way. Torren keeps the production lean and driving, all rubbery low end and a groove that keeps leaning forward, while rhys delivers the vocal with a smirk you can hear and turns one simple question into the whole hook. Cheeky, loud and a little bratty, it is the kind of club record a crowd starts shouting back by the second drop.
“After 20 years of DJing, I still find nothing more exciting than discovering new records that rip holes through a dance floor.” – Dom Dolla
The timing could not be more on brand. The news landed a few weeks after his hometown headline at Marvel Stadium in Melbourne on September 24, a 60,000-person night with Green Velvet on the bill and Clementine Douglas coming out for “Miracle Maker.” Torren joined Dom on stage that night to play “DANCE” himself, a full-circle moment for two Melbourne mates whose history goes back to their earlier collab “Be Randy.” Stack that on a 13-week Hï Ibiza residency and an extended run at LIV Las Vegas, and label boss feels like the natural next chapter. The idea, as he tells it, is a place where new artists and established legends build together, and “DANCE” is the first real test of it. We will be watching what lands on Good Fortune next.
