Diplo is leaning back into country, and this time he is doing it with Adrien Nunez. Their new collab, “Two Steppin’,” has a loose, feel-good energy that sounds made for festival fields, backroad speakers, and big singalong moments. Nunez gives the release a fresh spark, while Diplo keeps the production moving with that familiar blend of bounce, swagger, and crossover pull.
What makes it click is how naturally it all comes together. The track does not try too hard to force country and dance together, it just lets both sides do their thing and meets in the middle with something fun, upbeat, and easy to throw on.
It also lands at a solid moment for Diplo’s country run. Between Stagecoach, the Thomas Wesley catalog, and a long list of genre-bending linkups, “Two Steppin’” feels like another clean addition to that lane.
