Some things just make too much sense. deadmau5 has officially locked in his first-ever Halloween run at Red Rocks. The back-to-back shows are set for October 30 and 31.

That alone gives this run a little extra bite, but the new DEADMAU5 HALLOWEEN theme makes it hit even harder. The two-night stretch is being framed around big visuals, a wide pull from his catalog, new material, and a full invitation for fans to show up in costume, which should turn the whole thing into more than just another Red Rocks weekend.
It also lands at a strong moment in his year. Between “Science” with Stevie Appleton and the recent some ep and Error5 releases, deadmau5 has kept new music moving while still reminding people why his Red Rocks shows stay near the top of the yearly production conversation.
After more than 15 years of fall appearances at the venue, this feels like a smart twist on a tradition that already had plenty of weight. Halloween at Red Rocks with deadmau5 feels like one of those ideas that should have happened sooner, and now that it is here, it is going to be hard to ignore.
