Big Gigantic teamed up with Steller and Chicago rap duo The Palmer Squares on “Keep It Live,” out October 9, 2026 as a self-released single. It’s the fourth Big Gigantic release of the year after “Funk Rocket,” “Psychedelic Symphony” and “Play It,” and the title reads like a mission statement for a Boulder, Colorado duo that has always built its electronic music around a live saxophone and a real drum kit.
Steller comes into this one off a big 2026, with the Shifting The Lens headline tour and sets at Electric Forest, Okeechobee and ILLfest. The track itself is a tight three minutes, and it feels made for a festival field: bright, bouncy and heavy at the bottom.
The Palmer Squares are the wildcard. Acumental and Terminal Knowledge made their name on YouTube with long one-take rap videos, so a song called “Keep It Live” sits right in their lane. Their verses give the track a hip-hop backbone that feels like a natural fit for Big Gigantic’s funk.
The official visualizer leans all the way into the retro side, a glittering disco ball under a striped neon rainbow dome. It’s a fun, loud reminder of what Big Gigantic do best, and this run of singles keeps the era moving.
