The title cut “My Own Thang (To The Beat)” teams him with Sophiegrophy and Walker & Royce for a punchy, vocal-forward burner, while “Grip Slippin” with InntRaw leans heavier, locking into a bassline that feels made to rattle the walls. More than anything, the release feels like proof that Alok can slide into this club lane without forcing it, and Hellbent gets a big statement out of it in the process.
