Crankdat has remixed John Summit and Julia Wolf‘s “WITH ME”, out October 30, 2026 on Experts Only/Darkroom Records. The original arrived as a single on February 27, went on to sit at track four on Summit’s second album CTRL ESCAPE, and has been a fixture in his sets all year. Crankdat’s version comes in at a tight 2:18 and lands as a two-track single with the original right behind it.
The two of them road-tested it before it ever hit streaming. Crankdat joined Summit on stage at his Toronto arena show on the CTRL ESCAPE Arena Tour, they played the remix together for the first time, and fan clips of that moment have been making the rounds ever since. The official remix video is up on Summit’s YouTube channel now.
Crankdat keeps Wolf’s vocal right where it was and builds a much heavier floor underneath it. Thick wobbles, distorted 808s, and a low end that feels made for a bass stage at peak hour. The ache of the original is still there, it just hits harder now, like the same heartbreak pushed through a festival rig.
It also slots into a bigger remix run around CTRL ESCAPE, which has already brought a GRiZ flip of “DON’T BELIEVE IT” and a GorillaT take on “ALL THE TIME”. For Crankdat it is another big swing in a busy 2026 that has included his remix of Subtronics‘ “Eyes Cut Deeper” and “A Little Bit” with Kaskade. House-pop crossover on one side, bass music on the other, and the meeting point sounds like it was always there.
