Armin van Buuren‘s A State of Trance is making its U.S. festival debut. Insomniac announced on October 19, 2026 that ASOT will take over Ace*Mission in Los Angeles on June 11 and 12, 2027, the brand’s first multi-day, multi-stage festival in North America. Armin built the standalone U.S. format with Insomniac founder and CEO Pasquale Rotella, and for a trance family that usually has to cross an ocean for the full ASOT weekend, this one lands close to home.
Three stages split the sound three ways: classic and euphoric uplifting trance, high-energy psytrance, and melodic techno. At the center sits an immersive indoor warehouse stage that doubles as home base for the official afterparties, so the night rolls straight from the main event into the late hours without anyone leaving the grounds. The weekend also brings the ASOT Hotel Experience, a separate hub with its own exclusive events, a format the brand has already run in Rotterdam and London.
The venue fits the plan. Ace*Mission packs 18 acres of indoor and outdoor warehouse and soundstage space onto the LA River in Boyle Heights, and it already hosted Skyline in 2026. ASOT’s last Los Angeles stop was a single night at Banc of California Stadium, now BMO Stadium, on the ASOT 1000 tour in 2022. Going from one stadium night to a full weekend with its own hotel feels like a real new chapter for trance on the West Coast.
Presale opened October 22 at 10am PT, with general on-sale an hour later. Two-day GA passes start at $189.99 including fees for ages 18 and up, and two-day VIP runs $424.99 for ages 21 and up. The lineup is still to come, with more announcements promised on ASOT’s Instagram.
