Some shows stick with you because of the music. Others stay with you because the entire room feels like it is moving through another world. HUGEL at Hï Ibiza last Thursday was somehow both.
The second we stepped inside, the production was on another level. The lighting, visuals, and stage design completely changed the energy of the room, pushing everything into this surreal late-night space where the girls around us genuinely could not stop dancing. Even the women dressed like peacocks became part of the spectacle, gliding through the venue and adding to the feeling that Hï had turned into its own little universe for the night.
The crowd made it even better. We ended up meeting some awesome girls from New Zealand and England, the kind of random Ibiza connection that somehow feels totally normal in the moment and unforgettable once the night is over.
Then came the records.
“Ron y Coco,” “Shine,” and “Movin’ to the Sun” were all peak moments. Each one hit differently, but when they came on, the room changed. Hands went up, the energy jumped another level, and HUGEL had everyone exactly where he wanted them.
Being in Ibiza for HUGEL Summer made the whole thing feel full circle. We have watched his rise, covered the music, and followed the momentum building around this chapter, so finally standing inside Hï while it all came to life was something special.
We will never forget this show for as long as we live.
