Ellie Goulding released her sixth album I Know Too Much on September 4, 2026 through Polydor Records. Ten songs, a little over half an hour, and a hard turn inward after the dance-pop of Higher Than Heaven. This is the record where she trades the big room for the space directly in front of the microphone.
She made most of it with Canadian producer Jack Rochon, and the pair are said to have written and recorded hundreds of songs before cutting the list down to ten. Her 2024 separation from Caspar Jopling sits underneath the whole thing, and you can hear it in what she reached for. Guitars, bass, strings, harmonies. It sounds like pop with a classical streak running under it, built for headphones.
“For Your Entertainment” sits seventh on the tracklist, produced by Connor McDonough, Riley McDonough, Rochon and Steph Jones. It is a pointed title on an album built around dropping the performance of being fine, which is roughly where Goulding has said the whole record lives, in the space between knowing and not knowing.
The lead-in ran long. “Black Prada Dress,” “4 Seasons” and “Ravers” all arrived between June and August 2026, and she played a run of small launch shows through UK cities including Kingston, Bristol and Manchester around the release.
