Vintage Culture and Kevin Brauer put out the Selekta EP on August 28, 2026 through Affairs Records, with Tuggawar featured across it. The title track leads, “Yoga” follows, and both come with extended mixes for anyone who wants the long way round. It sits in melodic house and techno at 130 BPM in A major, which in practice means it builds patiently and then refuses to let go.
“Selekta” has already been doing rounds on radio ahead of the release, turning up in sets from AFROJACK and across the house circuit. Tuggawar gives it the swing, and the Brazilian producer born Lukas Rafael Ruiz Hespanhol does what he has always done well, which is find the exact point where a groove stops being background and starts running the room. It feels made for the hour when a terrace crowd decides it is staying.
Affairs is his own imprint, and he has been treating it as a whole aesthetic rather than a release schedule, running an Ibiza residency at Pacha under the same banner. The label has already turned out “Freaky1” with Max Styler and Ali Love this era, alongside work with ANNA, OMRI. and Lauren Nicole. Selekta keeps that run moving.
