With more than 100 artists taking over Factory Town across Halloween weekend, Hocus Pocus is going to create some painful scheduling decisions. These are seven sets we would be circling first.
Chase & Status
Their Factory Town debut alone makes this one essential. Chase & Status have been on an absurd run, and hearing that drum and bass pressure hit inside the industrial chaos of Factory Town should be ridiculous.
Eric Prydz
There are few artists better at turning a dark room into a full-body experience. Prydz brings the kind of slow-build tension, progressive melodies, and massive payoff that could feel perfect inside this year’s dystopian production.
Joseph Capriati B2B Seth Troxler
This is the kind of pairing Hocus Pocus is made for. Capriati brings relentless groove and precision, while Troxler has the personality and unpredictability to take the set somewhere completely different. Do not expect a safe one.
Jamie Jones B2B Franky Rizardo
Two artists who understand exactly how to keep a dancefloor locked for hours. Jamie Jones can make a groove feel hypnotic, while Rizardo knows how to inject just enough punch to keep everything moving forward. This could quietly become one of the weekend’s best sets.
Odd Mob B2B Cassian
This one should be chaos in the best way. Odd Mob has become one of the most reliable names for high-energy house, while Cassian brings a more melodic and cinematic edge. That contrast makes this B2B especially interesting.
Skream
Skream at Factory Town on Halloween weekend just feels right. His sets can move through house, techno, dubstep, and whatever else he decides the room needs. When he gets enough time to wander, things tend to get weird.
Kerri Chandler
Sometimes you need to stop chasing the biggest drop and let someone remind you why house music works in the first place. Kerri Chandler is one of those DJs. Deep grooves, soul, patience, and decades of knowing exactly when to make a room move.
The real problem is that Hocus Pocus has another 90-plus artists capable of wrecking this list.
