West 22nd are hitting the road again.
The Austin-based band has announced the Places To Be Tour, adding another major run of dates to what has already become a huge year. Formed by friends who met at the University of Texas, West 22nd have continued turning their “carousel rock” sound into packed rooms and increasingly bigger stages.
The tour will take them across the country through the fall, including stops in Nashville, Atlanta, Chicago, Toronto, Boston, New York, Washington, D.C., and more. Atlanta gets its date on October 30 at Terminal West, where the band will return after already making a stop at the venue before.
Songs like “Virginia Highlands,” “Easy Love,” and “All I Ever Wanted” have helped give the band a catalog that feels made for live rooms, the kind where everyone starts singing before the chorus even fully lands.
That is really what makes this next run exciting. West 22nd already have the songs.
Now they are getting the rooms to match.
