Alesso Drops Massive New EP ‘The One’

Alesso is putting a name to the energy that has been driving his recent sets. His new two-track EP, The One, brings together “Get Your Groove On” and “Smoke Machine,” two records built for the exact kind of massive rooms and festival crowds he has been commanding all summer.

There is a rawer edge to both tracks. “Get Your Groove On” carries the swagger, while “Smoke Machine” feels designed for that moment when the lights disappear and the entire room knows something huge is about to happen. Together, they give The One a clear identity without overcomplicating it.

The timing is perfect too. Alesso heads into one of the biggest dates of the summer when he joins David Guetta at Ushuaïa Ibiza on August 31 for F** Me I’m Famous!*, and we are seriously stoked to be there for it. Alesso and Guetta on the same bill in Ibiza already sounds like chaos in the best possible way.
