After a sold-out debut on Randall’s Island last year, John Summit’s Experts Only Festival is officially returning to New York City for 2026. The two-day event is set for September 19 and 20 at Randall’s Island Park, where it will once again turn the space into one of the city’s biggest destinations for dance music fans.
Summit will return not only as the face of the festival, but as a curator and performer, which gives the weekend even more pull following the lead-up to his new album CTRL ESCAPE. This year’s edition is also set to build on the first run with bigger production, multiple stages, and a broader overall experience, all of which should help push the festival even further in its second year.

The initial lineup already gives the weekend a strong foundation. Alongside John Summit, the first wave includes GRiZ, Prospa, SUBJOHNICS, LYNY, Korolova, Taiki Nulight, Devault, Dreya V, OMRI., Partiboi69, Jackie Hollander, Dansyn, Airrica, Gabss, MADI, Soraya, Mishell, and Rohaan, with more names still to come.
What made the first edition hit was not just the lineup, but the fact that it brought a large-scale dance event back to Randall’s Island in a way that felt polished and fully realized. With more than 50,000 fans showing up across the debut weekend, Experts Only quickly became one of the standout electronic events in New York. The 2026 return feels less like a follow-up and more like the next step in making it a staple.
