Ellie Goulding found this one by sliding into somebody’s TikTok. “4 Seasons” arrived July 31, 2026, co-written and produced by Jack Rochon, the man she first messaged on the app and then spent a couple of years making a record with. That is a strange origin story for something this delicate.
It is built on acoustic guitar and a lot of air, and it lands somewhere gentler than most of what she has put out recently. She is writing about the first intoxicating steps of a thing, and the production leaves enough room that you can hear her deciding whether to say it out loud. It feels close, unguarded, and slightly nervous.
It is the second single from I Know Too Much, her sixth album, out September 4, 2026 on Polydor, and it follows “Black Prada Dress”. The song has already had an airing on Later… With Jools Holland.
