Rihanna, one of the owner’s of JAY Z‘s new “high fidelity” music streaming platform TIDAL, is proving her worth. To us, it seems like the only way the brand can attract the general population (aka those that are totally cool with ripping YouTube videos to snag the mp3), is through exclusivity. If TIDAL is the only place to listen to something, it may just work out. You’ve likely heard RiRi’s new single “American Oxygen” throughout the NCAA tournament, but the official premiere is here exclusively courtesy of JAY Z’s new venture. We’ll see how long the exclusivity lasts.
Listen: Rihanna – American Oxygen
Lucky for us (those that don’t want to pay $20/month or sign up for a free 30 day trial), RiRi also played the song live last night at the March Madness Festival, which you can hear here: MORE!
