Disco’s Over & HotFunk – Lonely Island (Sweekuh Remix) [Free Download]

On the day of his 21st birthday, the homie Sweekuh dropped this gorgeous remix of Disco’s Over & HotFunk‘s wavy track, “Lonely Island“. The young producer interrupts the natural progression, sensual vocals and beautiful melodies with some absolutely perfectly placed bass, and creates something with enough vibes and emotion to rival even that of the groovy “Jealous” remix he, and his good friends Hotel Garuda, dropped a few weeks back. Take the time to wish the kid a happy birthday while you enjoy the track above, and scope the free download below.

Similar to “Dark Horse” where Katy Perry teamed up with Juicy J, she enlists Riff Raff for the official remix to “This Is How We Do” off her latest album, Prism.

Jimi Frew – Yalla

Dropping on Monday is the next release from John Dahlback’s record label, Mutants. He has snapped up Australian producer Jimi Frew for this one, and it certainly doesn’t fit the mold of standard electro house. Frew has crafted a layered and dynamic single with “Yalla” – taking its title from the Arabic word to “come on.”

Fiery vocal samples fly alongside an explosive rhythmical progression and Eastern-inspired snatches of guitar. The grinding melody rushes towards a climax with almost apocalyptic feel before fading away again. This is seriously strong production from the Sydney native, and one to watch.

LOUDPVCK & gLAdiator – GLADPVCK Mix [Free Download]

LOUDPVCK and gLAdiator shake the earth with a new mix with the groups combined title,”GLADPVCK Mix.” Together they created a fourty-two minute testimony to trap’s roots with swinging basses and screwed synths. The group snuck in an unreleased track called, “Tony” that starts at 19:26, so it seems like the LA natives are working together steadily. I send a prayer hand emoji into the internet for these four to keep rolling out these mixes.
