Wait Did Kendrick Lamar Steal Another Instrumental?

They say imitation is the best form of flattery. This plays true for Indie hip-hop artist Christian Deshun from Los Angeles. His well received EP SMPLCTY was released last year, with one of the stand out singles being “Thank You”. When Kendrick Lamar’s To Pimp A Butterfly was released last week, there was speculation that K. Dot had stolen Christian Deshun’s “Thank You” and turned it into “Momma“. You can listen to both records below to see for yourself! But the fact of the matter was that Christian had leased the beat from KNXWLEDGE, and Kendrick ended up getting the exclusive a year later. Take note Indie artists, protect your material!

Instead of dwelling on this, Christian is going to continue to strive for success. He just released a visual titled “Undisclosed” which is ending up on his album Subtle Weekends releasing this Summer. This was a flashback to a time where Christian was financially scraping by, by intellectually rich. Him and his homies in Louisiana would go to this abandoned trap house off the grid, which you couldn’t even get to with a GPS. Hence the name “Undisclosed”. Stay tuned for more from Christian, but in the meantime, decided for yourself if Kendrick is really a thief. MORE!

Waka Flocka’s Collaboration With Pornhub Features Andy Milonakis, MGK, And A Ton Of Pornstars

Bow Bow Bow Bow Bow! The words of an entire generation summed up into 3 repeated letters. As you may know, Pornhub has been doing their best to get into the music industry and Waka Flocka and crew are their next step into the music world.

The video features a star-studded cast in MGK, DJ Whoo Kid, Dirt Nasty, Andy Milonakis, the Fat Jew and pornstars Skin Diamond, Eva Angelina and Chanel Preston. They actually marketed this as a Waka Flocka Flame sextape and then released this hilarious video. Well done Pornhub.

Tech N9ne – On The Bible (Ft. T.I. & Zuse)

KC meets ATL in this collab between Tech N9ne & T.I. Not sure who Zuse is but he still lays down a pretty solid verse. Tech literally pumps out more music than any other legit hip-hop artist out there. I think that’s why he has such a strong fanbase. I’m also looking forward to Worldwide Choppers V. 2 which literally was just announced to be dropping in 17 days and will feature Eminem.

Tech N9ne’s ‘Special Effects’ album is set to drop on 5/5.

Mumford & Sons – Believe (YONAS Remix) [Free Download]

YONAS has been absolutely killing it with remixes lately, and in the latest edition of Freemix Tuesday’s he decided to put an upbeat hip-hop spin on “Believe” by Mumford & Sons. It’s been awesome to hear so much new, free music from YONAS, and this track is just as great as we’ve come to expect. He’s been one of my favorite artists for years now, and his flow has continued to evolve with each song he puts out.

In addition to giving his fans the “Believe” remix for free, YONAS also announced that he will be releasing a brand new EP at the end of this month. Until that drops, listen to all of the Freemix Tuesday’s here to hold you over. Check back later in April to hear what else YONAS has in store for us on the forthcoming EP!
