“Damn homie, In highschool you was the man homie”. 50 Cent aka Curtis Jackson the THIRD filed for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy protection Monday. This comes after probably the dumbest way to lose $5 million dollars (and then some) I have ever heard (unless you are Scott Storch).
“The lawsuit stems from a 13-minute video that appeared online in 2009 featuring a wig-wearing 50 Cent as a narrator dubbed Pimpin’ Curly. The character made explicit remarks about Leviston and taunted rap rival Rick Ross, who wasn’t in the video but has a daughter with Leviston. At the time the video surfaced, Ross and 50 Cent were trading barbs via video, lyrics and interviews.
50 Cent got the 2008 tape from the man in it, Leviston’s boyfriend at the time. The rapper and his lawyers said that 50 Cent didn’t actually post the video but that Leviston’s then-boyfriend said she wouldn’t mind if he did, and he thought that would suffice.”
So the quickest way to get out of paying money is to file for bankruptcy and declare all your assets. Guess what ole fiddy cent is doing. This is what happens when you hire your friends as financial advisers. Go watch the show Ballers on HBO if you have no idea what I’m talking about.
In court papers filed in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Hartford, Conn., Mr. Jackson reported assets and debts each in the range of $10 million to $50 million.
You guys are about to see this dude in every movie with Nicholas Cage from now on.
Lil Wayne and Birdman will just not quit. It looks as if the tension between the adopted prodigal son and the Cash Money kingpin is still going strong, and presumably getting worse. In the video above, Lil Wayne can be seen covered in an unknown beverage as the camera pans up to Birdman staring menacingly down at the stage. One more quick camera pan back to Weezy’s distraught reaction and Birdman is gone, escaping into the shadows of the prestigious Miami Nightclub that moments later was shut down thanks to the incident.
Wayne is currently suing Birdman and attempting to gain his release from Cash Money Records and has been beefing with his ex-mentor and father since he called out Birdman on twitter back in 2014. After signing with Jay-Z’s Roc Nation and the successful release of the Free Weezy Album, Lil Wayne might actually be stuntin’ harder than his daddy.
It’s been long rumored that Chance The Rapper had linked up with Kanye West – his #1 idol – in the studio, both being two of Chicago’s best current emcees. But it looks like their relationship hit a new high when Yeezy shouted the rising star out on stage. Chance basically flipped out. So much energy, so much passion, so much excitement.
