Skrillex, A-Trak & Diplo – Will Release “Potato Will Eat You” Collab Feb. 18

The electro/dubstep gods have spoken. A cry from the heavens down to us. Here it is! The next big thing! I am so eager for the 18th of February to come now with news of this collab actually happening. Like in the physical living flesh. Both A-Trak and Skrilly have posted photos of the collective group to their Instagram accounts, using the caption “Potato Will Eat You.”

Also, Womp Womp Wednesday is coming shortly.

Diplo most recently posted his own photo of a street sign that reads “Warning: Potato Will Eat You Feb 18 2013,” (pictured above) and confirmed the date and title on his own Twitter. Even OWSLA has added it to their Instagram account. They even made a website for it which you can view HERE! Also, Diplo uploaded a teaser video to his YouTube channel which you can view after the jump!

For now, try to wait patiently for what should be a terrific finished product from the Grammy boys of 2013.

After getting the deluxe edition and listening to it all night while working yesterday, I must say this is one of the most versatile, powerful and mind boggling releases I have heard in quite some time. I want to start off by saying Modestep is the main reason I got into electro/dub music in the first place. Being a musician myself, the respect and appreciation I have for them adding live instruments and pure musical talent to their electronic sound is astounding. No one can mimmick their sound. Ever.

New SirensCeol yesssss. Perfect for that all-nighter I’m about to perform for the shit I’ll never use in life test I’m going to be taking in 14 hours. On another note Stephen is back at it, with Drumstep this time. I’d almost say this is has a Krewella esque feel. Regardless this kid has relentlessly been dropping amazing tracks every single week.
