DJ Khaled’s Claims Of Sabatoge At EDC Vegas Rebuked By Festival Management

DJ Khaled had one heck of a weekend “performing” at EDC Vegas. When someone that has the word DJ in their stage name spends 95% of the time on the mic, at an electronic music festival nonetheless, you’re bound to have disappointed fans, and be booed off stage. He went as far to say that he was purposefully held back and all of the sound issues were by design.

But his claims of sabotage (as everyone know), are complete BS. As TMZ kindly points out, festival officials are pointing to technical difficulties, with no malintent. The damage has been done, and Khaled’s embarrassing “set” will go down as one of the worst ever.

Pasquale Rotella, CEO and founder of Insomniac, who runs EDC, said that:

“Due to technical difficulties beyond DJ Khaled and Insomniac’s control, Khaled was not able to perform at his scheduled time on Sunday night at EDC.”

He went on to further say that Khaled was:

“the consummate pro, arriving on time and ready to perform”

So all you Khaled haters blaming him, can rest assured that he didn’t come to EDC to be a boisterous, obnoxious mess, but just wasn’t able to perform to his abilities. Was it a mess? Sure. Was it sabotage, nope – and it looks like it wasn’t an unprepared, late performer either.

His album Grateful arrives next Friday, June 23rd and will be one of the biggest albums of 2017.
