Kanye West’s “All Of The Lights” Gets Groovy Flip From Alexander Lewis & Brasstracks [Free Download]

Kanye West‘s “All Of The Lights” is one of those classics circa 2011. It’s been remade countless of times, and every so often, it’s done right (Pretty Lights ftw). And now we’ve got another gem on our hands.

Take this soulful, jazzy brass cover before us today, by trap fiend Alexander Lewis and big-league trumpeters Brasstracks – who have worked with Chance The Rapper (ever hear “No Problem”?), Khalid and Anderson .Paak before.

“I felt like ‘All of the Lights’ was perfect for a brass cover,” Lewis told Billboard. “One day, I had a couple hours to spare so I recorded that main motif idea and did some production/structure to begin the tune, sent it to Ivan [of Brasstracks] and asked him if he was down. He literally sent me the trumpets the next day.”
